What 3lanse does, and what it doesn't
We would rather be precise than impressive. Here is exactly what the signals on a profile, and our tools, mean.
- Uploaded is not the same as reviewed. A member can upload documents at any time. They are only treated as reviewed once a 3lanse reviewer has assessed them as part of the PQQ.
- PQQ Compliant means a member's questionnaire and evidence have been reviewed against our defined requirements and accepted.
- 3lanse Compliant means a member has completed the core profile checks and has in-date insurance recorded. It is an automatic check and lapses if the insurance does.
- Suitability is still yours to judge. Prequalification covers defined checks; the right person for your project depends on the role, scope and engagement.
- Reminders are not cover. 3lanse tracks insurance expiry dates and prompts renewals. It does not provide insurance.
- IR35 results are guidance. The IR35 checker helps you understand and record your position. It is not an HMRC determination or professional advice.
- Aidmin asks first. Aidmin only works with your own account, and anything that changes a record or contacts someone waits for you to confirm.

You ask in plain English and it works with your own 3lanse account: for a 3lanser it can prepare draft invoices, log days and mileage, find suitable jobs, show what is unpaid or overdue and tell you what needs sorting today. For a 3seeker it can find matching 3lansers, summarise applicants and prepare interview invitations. Anything that changes your records or contacts someone waits for you to confirm.
Is 3lanse a recruitment agency?
No. 3lanse does not employ freelancers, supply them under agency contracts or take a cut of their day rate. Businesses and freelancers connect directly and agree their own terms. The platform is funded by memberships rather than finder's fees or commission.

What does PQQ Compliant mean?
A PQQ is a prequalification questionnaire covering experience, qualifications, insurance, health and safety and business standing. 3lanse reviewers assess a 3lanser's PQQ and evidence against defined requirements, and those who meet them are shown as PQQ Compliant. It is a 3lanse review, not a third-party accreditation, and hirers should still carry out their own checks.
